This past August, we joined hundreds of builders and handmade bike enthusiasts at the MADE Show for a weekend celebrating the handmade bike industry in Portland, Oregon.
For us, MADE is more than just another show. It’s a chance to share what excites us most about building bikes: timeless designs, hand-crafted frames, precision machining, and meticulous in-house painting that all come together under one roof in Eugene, Oregon. As we enter our 38th year of building bikes in 2026, we feel incredibly blessed to continue the domestic handcrafted bicycle tradition and sharing it with the world during the MADE Show.
If you missed the show, don’t worry. We’ve gathered all of our MADE Show bikes right here. Scroll through for photos, build details, and more about each Co-Motion MADE Show bike.
Tumalo with Pinion C1.12i Smart.Shift
For this year's show we had the lucky chance to show off Robert's Tumalo, built with a Pinion C1.12i gearbox with Smart.Shift. A true showstopper.
We worked closely with Robert to bring his Tumalo vision to life. Built for self sustained, worry free off-road touring in Northeast Canada, we combined a Rockshox Reba suspension fork with a Shutter Precision front dynamo hub, which powers a bar mounted light. Perfect for riding without worrying about charging a front light.
The Tumalo combines all the best attributes that mountain touring and gravel bikes offer. Not to be confused with a drop bar mountain bike or monster cross gravel bike, the Tumalo is carefully designed as a lightweight, off-road bikepacking and touring machine. With long chain-stays and extended frame reach, this bike has increased traction, load stability, and handling.
We are excited to see where Robert and his Tumalo go first.

Tumalo SRAM AXS
Our second MADE Show Tumalo was built with a SRAM AXS 1x12 drivetrain, SRAM Reverb AXS dropper post and an Astral Serpentine Serpentine wheelset. Exploring is more enjoyable with the Tumalo.

Steelhead
The Steelhead is our most loved tandem model this year. It has become our go-to all-road tandem thanks to its versatile geometry and generous tire clearance. Whether you are road touring or crushing your local gravel race, the Steelhead is built to handle it all.
For this MADE Show build, we opted for a full SRAM AXS drivetrain. No cables, no fuss, just precise, reliable shifting, paired with an Astral Outback wheelset for a confident, lightweight experience on gravel. Painted in-house in Royal Purple aand Poison Apple Team Logos.

Siskiyou
We took this year's MADE Show as an opportunity to build a special Siskiyou for Daniel, our East Coast sales rep. Built with S&S couplers for travel, this Siskiyou was designed with gravel and S240 bikepacking trips in mind.
Built for self-supported adventures, this Siskiyou is a no-fuss mechanical ride. No need to worry about charging a front light. The Pathfinder package has that covered with a SON28 Dynamo, Schmidt Edelux II front light, and Sinewave Reactor USB Top Cap to keep other devices charged.
The Siskiyou served as the perfect platform to show off our in-house machining and thoughtful craftsmanship. Both the S&S couplers and dropouts were hand-polished in-house by our brazer, Bob. Of course, nothing says custom bike at the MADE Show, quite like a painted-to-match Silca frame pump.
Finally, this frame received a show-stopping Pink Champagne paint job, Fully Leaded team logos and our Lighthouse metal head tube badge, part of our 'Oregon Icon series'. A Zapotec-inspired motif adorns the chainstays, a nod to Daniel's home state of Oaxaca.

Metolius
We use MADE Show as our platform to show attendees how fun an e-tandem, like our Metolius, can be. Whatever their fitness goals may be, we've seen the Metolius bring people together, allowing them to ride more often, further, or even together for the first time.
The Metolius is the latest culmination of Co-Motion tandem design and Bosch technology, plus countless hours of testing and refining. Based on a similar platform as the Steelhead, the Metolius utilizes the most powerful Bosch Performance pedal-assist motor integrated with an electronic shifting Rohloff internally geared hub or SRAM AXS components for the ultimate riding experience. Ride farther with more comfort and less effort.

Klatch
This Klatch featured another show-stopping paint job with matching Rolf Prima wheels. Based on a customer-requested paint job earlier this year, this Mondrian-inspired paint job was brought to life using a meticulous masking process, similar how we achieve our 'Team Logos' shown with the Steelhead and Siskiyou.
The Klatch is the perfect fusion of cyclocross and gravel bike performance. Designed for riders seeking more versatility than a road bike and more features than a traditional cross bike, the Klatch is your go-to for gravel, bikepacking, and cyclocross.
